Day 25: Family

This Thanksgiving I am not in the real world and I have no internet access (EEK!) so I am writing posts to be posted while I am gone. In the spirit of Thanksgiving week, here is what I am most Thankful for: my wonderful family!
Jayme--my husband of 12 years, high school sweetheart, and best friend. He really truly loves me, warts and all. Take this week for instance when we spent the better part of 2 days barely speaking to each other and then he took me to see New Moon and didn't even get mad when I swooned over Edward or said, "Thank you!" out loud when Jacob took his shirt off for the first time.
Raley--my oldest child. The smartest kid I have ever known and not just in my opinion. I love going to his school and having his friends tell me how smart and friendly he is. He makes me smile and I love how he is a perfect blend of his Dad and I.
Clay--my middle beast. He is honestly the sweetest kid ever. Just today as I dropped him off for school, the teacher who monitors his bus line in the afternoons came over and hugged him and said, "He is the sweetest little boy ever!" He makes friends wherever he goes, and gives his heart to each of them.
Pattie--my little princess. Even after she snuck off with the sugar bowl and spilled in on the rocking chair this morning, even though she hasn't slept through the night but a handful of times in the last 18 months, even though she doesn't want anyone but me to do anything for her which is utterly exhausting! I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.
Thank you God for blessing me with these wonderful people to spend my life with. I strive each day to deserve them.
