Driveway Walkway

We have had a problem ever since moving in to this house 6 years ago. Basically, we have large vehicles. Neither one of them will fit in the garage because our garage is filled with other crap necessary items. So when we go to get in our truck our Suburban, we usually have to step into the grass on the side of the driveway. Unless we have backed in on the one side, but then anyone riding with us may have to go in the grass. This isn't always a problem though. Unless it has rained in the last little while. Depending on how much rain, we either are talking about a slightly damp ground that sticks a little to your shoes, or a boggy mess that you sink up to your knees in.
When we started talking about the front fence, we talked about one that would continue along the driveway and border a flower bed that had stepping stones in it. This idea evolved into a rock bed with stepping stones so that no matter the weather, we can get in and out of the vehicle parked on that side without worry of messing up our shoes.
We started it about a month ago when we tilled up the garden area. We used the tiller to make short work of digging through the grass along the side of the driveway.
Then we built a border along the other side out of the tops of cedar fenceposts.
Next we bought some stepping stones and bags of river rock.
We bought 2 of these pretty Texas stones

The rest were irregularly shaped stepping stones in a nice paced-out design
We started with 8 bags of river rock but that wasn't enough so we got 8 more. Still not enough so we got 5 more. Finally...Perfection!!

You can walk from behind the trucks all the way to the sidewalk up to our door without stepping in any grass or mud!

It's a small thing but we have so enjoyed it!
