Around the Yard

Well, spring is in full force this week. We've had a little rain and nice temperatures. It was almost 90 the other afternoon. Supposed to cool off some this week with lows in the 50s so we'll see!
My roses are doing awesome right now...
The garden is doing well too...
I've got corn popping up

And onions

The Romaine lettuce is still alive

As is the broccoli

My older squash plant has lots of blooms coming

And a couple of the cantaloupe seeds we planted have come up as well

Phase II of the fence project should start this week, if our supplies come in. Also on the agenda this week: painting the hallway, kitchen, dining and living rooms. Thursday we have a  guy coming over to pull up the linoleum in the kitchen/diningroom and kids' bathroom and the carpet in the livingroom and hallway. Next step: Tile and wood floors!! Chaos ensues :)

  1. I'm just a little jealous that you can already plant things there. It was about 50 here today, and still down to 35 tonight. We're not safe to plant for about a month yet. But I'll be happy when my roses start blooming too...which will probably be pretty soon.
