Closing Doors and Opening Windows...

Today is our last normal Sunday for the foreseeable future. Jayme starts the night shift tomorrow evening so will spend much of tomorrow trying to sleep sleeping. On the up side, he only works Monday night and then is off until Saturday when his first full week starts. Next weekend will be weird I think but I am not expecting any great difficulty keeping things quiet enough. Jayme is a pretty deep sleeper and our room is way at the back of the house. We are going to hang some curtains today that will hopefully keep it dark and cool in there too.
The boys are home (!!!!) and we missed them so much. We had planned on going out to the state park to swim with them this morning but Raley had a hard time with the chlorine water he's been in lately. His eyes are all puffy and red and he asked if we would mind not going anywhere today. Poor guy, he was kind of worried we'd be upset, but one look at his sweet face told us he really doesn't feel like going out in the hot bright sun. They have been playing hard with cousins and friends all week while we sat around missing them!
So instead of swimming we will hang out inside and watch movies. I bought the new DC Animated movie Batman Under the Red Hood while they were gone. We watched it without them and then watched it again with them last night. It's very good!! If you're a comic family like us anyway. I also bought the Clash of the Titans (new version) DVD. We saw it at the drive-in (well, Clay fell asleep) but I am sure we will watch it later today.
Tomorrow while Jayme sleeps we may get the chance to cook some of the treats I have been buying ingredients for. If we do, I will take pics and post them on the food blog. The next few days will be a little crazy for us so you may not hear from me much but I will keep you posted!
