First Day of School 2010

Today the boys started back to school. Each of them started at a new campus this year (our district has a new school every 2 years until high school) so they had a little bit of nerves this morning. We took them to school on this first day:

Raley was just a drop-off since he's much too big as a 5th grader to be walked in (not that they would have let me anyway, I'm sure)

Clay was ready to attack 1st grade

and was happy when we left him at the gym.

 They rode the bus home
and arrived sweaty, tired and hungry

but ready to do it all again tomorrow!

**No, we did not suddenly have a third boy. That's our neighbor Collin; he gets off at our house and walks over to his to save the bus a stop :)

    The bus stops at each house (or most houses)? Must be nice. Our school bus stops once on our side of the crescent, once on the other side (and our crescent probably has 50 houses - many of the semi-detached - on each side).

    Glad they enjoyed their first day. How was Pattie with you all to herself?
