10 Years

My friend Jana posted a similar thing today and I liked the idea so I stole it!!

10 years ago:
~I was almost 24 years old.
~Jayme and I had been married for almost 3 years.
~We lived in a 2 bedroom apartment in Darmstadt, Germany.
~Raley was almost 2 months old so I was sleep-deprived but at the same time blissfully happy.
~Our only vehicle was a green 2 door Dodge Dakota.
~We didn't have any pets of our own so we watched our neighbor's pets when they went out of town.

Now:
~I am almost 34 years old.
~Jayme and I have been married for almost 13 years and we still feel like newlyweds (sappy, much? but true).
~We live in a 3 bedroom house in beautiful East Texas.
~We have 3 wonderful clones (ages 10, almost 7, and almost 3) who fill our lives with chaos (but that's not always a bad thing).
~We have a white 4 door Chevy Truck and a tan Chevy Suburban.
~We have a wonderful dog, 6 laying hens and a turken. When we go out of town we have to have someone take care of the flock but the pup travels with us.

10 years from now:
~I will be nearly 44.
~I am quite certain Jayme and I will still be happily married.
~I wouldn't mind if we still lived in this house, but I am not positive that will be the case.
~The kids will be 20 (!), almost 17 and almost 13.
~I will probably have a job, but I wouldn't want to do anything that would keep me away from the kids so it will more than likely be school related. Maybe subbing, maybe working in the library.
~It's sad to think that 10 years from now won't have the same dog but I know we will have one. At least one. I can only hope he will be as awesome as Lucas Maximus.
