Better Now Than Later!

So, I really can't believe how long it's been since I posted anything!! Have we really been that busy? Let's see....I try to stay of the computer (as much as I can) on the weekends when Jayme is home from work. And he is off every Monday so that makes Monday light for me too.
Back in March we made plans for our Kick-Off The Summer Trip. We were leaving home June 6th and heading to Galveston Island State Park. Then on the 8th we would leave Galveston and head over to Brazos Bend State Park until the 12th when we would take the trailer and park it at our land for the summer. Unfortunately we had to postpone the trip for reasons that really aren't important, but suffice it to say, we will take the trip later this summer.
As it turned out, it may have been for the best that we couldn't go. Monday night as Jayme and I were heading for bed, Raley started throwing up. Poor guy! None of us have been sick with a stomach bug for so long. He was much better by Tuesday morning but still very weak and not himself.
Last night, Pattie slept all night long which is still an amazing feat unfortunately. The bad news is that at about 6:30 this morning I was awakened to the sound of her dry heaving in her bed. It wasn't too much longer until I was running for the bathroom myself. Pattie seemed to get over it very quickly and hasn't thrown up again since before 10 this morning. Neither have I but I sure fell like crap. Jayme even came home from work early to take care of us, but I had excellent help from the boys this morning and I was very grateful.
So, I guess we have been a little busy, but not with anything I would have liked, that's for sure!! I will say this though, I would rather get this sickness stuff over and done with before it does mess up any of our plans.
