I do obsess from time to time....

.....over the silliest little things, too! For instance, just before Easter I was in Hobby Lobby browsing around and I saw something I thought would be cute for Clay's room. They were camo letters. I figured I could get his initials and he could use them for decoration. then I looked around to see if they had something different but similar for Pattie and Raley and they did. So I decided I would get them and put them in the kids' Easter baskets or something. I picked out Pattie's initials and then Raley's then went back to get Clay's. They had the W and the S but no C. hmmmmmm What to do? I decided to buy what they had and find the C at a different store. Within a couple weeks I had been to every Hobby Lobby within an hour drive from my house and NONE OF THEM HAD A C!!!!! It was too late to give them for Easter so they all sat in a drawer in my room. I didn't want to give Pattie and Raley theirs until I had all of Clay's. That's not weird, right?!
So, as time went on, I gave up hope of ever finding the C at Hobby Lobby and I decided to go online and look for it. Google led me to Cabela's and there it was! For half the price! SCORE! I ordered it and eagerly anticipated the realization of my pitiful little dream. It came rather quickly and I excitedly opened the box to find that the reason it was half the price of the Hobby Lobby version was that it was also half the size. Now what?? I decided that the easiest thing to do was to go back online to Cabela's and order the W and the S from them as well. They showed up a couple nights ago just after dinner and after a rather lengthy explanation, I was able to finally give the letters to the kids. I was expecting them to look at me with the "this-is-pretty-lame-for-you-to-have-gotten-all-excited-about" look but they were actually very sweet and acted really excited and happy. And I got to feel like I had finally accomplished something!

Now I want to find some to spell out our last name and I will put it in the entryway. Shouldn't be too hard to find, but I don't want the first S to be the same as the second S.......
