So Much to Do! Not Much Time!!

Well, here we are a mere 7 days from Christmas and I have not:

• baked anything to send for gifts
• mailed or even purchased Christmas cards
• decided what to buy everyone on our list
• purchased all the gifts we have decided to buy
• printed pictures to send in the Christmas cards I haven't purchased

I have, however:

• finished decorating the house and tree
• taken a picture to print and send in cards
• decided what to bake/make and written out the required ingredients
• figured out who will get things mailed to them versus who will get theirs in person
• worked out a timeline for our visit home, making sure we get to spend time with each side of our triangle

Last week I ended up working each of the four days I was available and finally succumbed to the allergies that were pinging my sinuses for a few days. Hopefully my head will clear soon. We went to get our tree on Tuesday but didn't decorate it until Saturday morning. We had a lot of fun though. We decided to go to the cut-your-own farm again.

When we finally got it decorated, I have to admit, It's very pretty.

And the picture I took to put in the cards this year turned out okay. We'll be taking a new family portrait soon so those will go out after the holidays when the world stops spinning quite so fast. In the meantime....
