14 Years Later

Then:

  • He was 21 years and 11 months old. I was 20 years, 11 months and 2 weeks old.
  • We had just started our senior year of college.
  • We dreamed of having three kids.
  • We lived in a one bedroom apartment off campus.
  • We hoped someday we'd have a dog.
  • While neither of us had a job, he was contracted to the Army after graduation.
  • We had a 1977 Ford truck that I didn't know how to drive (it was a manual transmission)
  • He loved me with all his heart and I loved him with all of mine
Now:

  • He is 35 years and 11 months old. I am 34 years, 11 months and 2 weeks old.
  • We have lived here in Chaosville for 6 1/2 years.
  • We have three wonderful, amazing kids.
  • We live in a three bedroom house with a big yard.
  • We have 2 great dogs and 6 happy chickens.
  • He works for Target. I'm a stay at home mom/substitute teacher.
  • We have a 2002 Chevy Truck and a 2004 Chevy Suburban.
  • He stills loves me with all his heart, and I still love him with all mine. And then some.
Happy Anniversary my sweet. Life wouldn't be any fun for me if you hadn't moved to town.
