Pattie Post

Since this is Pattie's birthweek, I wanted to make one last post about my little princess. She shares her birthday with Dr. Phil McGraw, Yvonne DeCarlo (aka Mrs. Munster), Conway Twitty and Edgar Rice Burroughs among others. She was due August 28th and I like to say that she waited four extra days so her birthstone would be a sapphire instead of a peridot. She's the baby of the family and the only girl, so we are pretty much defeated before we even start the fight. She rules our house with an iron fist, but only because we let her.
She is a lot like Jayme, she loves Froot Loops and Spaghettios (but we have to take out the meatballs. Raley was the same way when he was little). She loves to play rough and tumble and she loves to swim and go outside. She's a lot like me too. She loves horses (and other animals) and her favorite people are my favorite people too. She likes Princess movies as much as Superhero movies.
Her newest word is "y'all" and she uses it correctly and puts the apostrophe in the correct place (yes, I really can hear that!!). I love the way she say words that start with "sn-" because it comes out as an "fn-". She wants (f)nuggles not (s)nuggles and I big, puffy heart it!
She has a quick temper but she gets over it quickly too. She’s a night owl and doesn’t sleep through the night, she’s got us all wrapped around her finger, she’s completed our family in such a way that we almost feel guilty about it!
For her Birthday dinner we had Salmon Patties (hee hee hee) with Mac & Cheese and for dessert we had Brownie Bottom Ice Cream Cupcakes....yum! Before bed we all sat on the couch and I read her Dr Seuss's Happy Birthday to You! and the boys each gave her a pack of Toy Story figures. She got Buzz with Jessie and Woody with Bullseye. That should tide her over until the party next weekend. Here's a cute picture of my big girl with some flowers she got from her buddy Deuce. Happy Birthday Pattie Lynn!

  1. Ha! She can hang out with my boy anytime... he refuses to eat anything BUT the meatballs in a can of Spaghetti-Os.
