Fun Fact Friday

Well, it's been a while since I did a Fun Fact post so I tried to think of a few things for you today. We'll see how it goes!

• Raley is in advanced math this year. One of the first things they did was take the 5th grade TAKS test from a couple years ago. He missed 3 on the test but the errors were in simple things like miscounting the number of squares, so he already has a solid grip on the material he is supposed to know by April.
• When Clay came home from school the other day he said, "Mommy, I just love you! No one will ever take your place in my heart."
• When Pattie has something to drink in her hand and she notices that you have one too, she comes up to you and says, "Skumps to the home!" from Sleeping Beauty.
• Raley tried to shave his own sideburns in our shower the other day. Both mine and Jayme's razors were completely clogged with light blonde hair. He vehemently denied it when questioned though.
• Clay's teacher wants to nominate him for Gifted & Talented this year. We are considering it.
• When she wakes up in the morning and sees the sun shining Pattie says, "Oh, it's good morning!"
• The day Raley turned 3, I was 5 months pregnant with Clay.
• The day Clay turned 3, we had just started trying for Pattie.
• The day Pattie turned 3, Jayme had a vasectomy.
• We call this "Full Circle" as we've gone from cooking the next one to planning the next one to preventing any further ones. Does that classify as irony?
