Mother's Day recap

Hello blogosphere! I had a nice Mother's Day, thank you. I would have loved it if my husband had been home but we don't always get what we want, do we? He did send me some fantastic chocolate covered strawberries and made sure to remind the kids to be nice to me all day. Clay made my coffee and brought it to me in bed and while the clones did not get along perfectly all day, it was slightly better than normal.
I was greatly looking forward to the handmade gifts that I know Kindergarten brings and I was not disappointed! Look how cute these are:

Third grade did not forget mom either, they made little books all about us and Clayton added a gift to mine in the form of a paper fan:

Raley made me a very sweet card and gave me a lot of hugs. They all consented to have some pictures taken and cooperated long enough for me to snap these:

My mom was at my brother's house in Maryland so we had to settle for a phone call. Jayme's step-mom was home but not feeling well so we didn't get the chance to see her either. I did get to spend some time on Saturday with my wonderful mother-in-law. She gave me a beautiful orchid. I hope I don't kill it!

I am trying to stay busy this week and keep my mind off the fact that I will officially be the mother of a teenager in 6 days! More on that later :)
