September in a Snap

Well, it was a great month for the most part and my lack of posting wasn't really due to anything other than life taking priority over writing. I will try to give you some highlights without getting boring!
  • Two of the clones and I had birthdays. We had a nice little party Labor Day weekend.
  • I had some fun subbing at the campuses I like here in town.
  • I got a haircut and it was quite a bit shorter than I intended. The girl moussed it and scrunched it when she was done and my husband drooled over it so much that I have continued to "style" it that way since. I usually flat iron my hair and put it in a ponytail so this is pretty new for me. I have to admit it is very easy and fast in the mornings though!
  • We kept looking up at the sky and hoping for rain but it just never came.
  • We made a couple day trips to our land to try and save the little trees we had planted but the creek was dried up. It will be spring before we know for sure if some of our trees are lost for good or if they have simply dropped their leaves a little early.
  • My mom fought a bad infection that eventually landed her in the hospital ON HER BIRTHDAY! She is home and on the mend now and we are very hopeful that her health will be even better than it has been for a while.
  • We spent a 4 day weekend at the land at the end of the month. Other than Mom and Dad not being able to join us (Mom ended up in the hospital while we were there) it was a nice weekend. We were tent camping for the first time since last year. It got pretty chilly at night but the mornings were so gorgeous!
My intention, as always, is to be better about posting here. It's kind of strange but a lot of the blogs I read have had the same low posting as mine. I guess it's a normal cycle in a way. You get busy during the summer and then when school starts you are busy at first then as life settles down, and you find the time to blog some. Hopefully I can keep up from now on.
